 Glad to see my good friend Bernie is following the Blog ! I was looking at some photo's this afternoon when we climbed Sancy in the Massif Central, only 50 minutes away from La Petite Maison.

Montlucon

Joanne and Chris spent Tuesday in Montlucon for some retail therapy, there are some wonderful boulevards to visit and lots of historic facts to uncover.

Snowtastic

 There is nothing nicer than the first real snowfall of the season, Joanne and Chris visit the Manor house and light the fires just to keep the chill off.

A Visit from the Cows

The milking cows often wander down to see what Chris & Joanne are up to in the garden, Chris takes time out to have a chat, he is a bit of a celebrity in cow world since saving the calf.

Is it really Winter

 Glorious Spring like weather makes for getting a good head start in the garden, burning leaves and branches etc, the swimming pool will however remain closed, ha ha.

Homemade Christmas Table Decorations

 It's always a pleasure to collect natural products from the forest and watch Joanne turn then into creative decorations for the table, the scent from the pine makes for a great free air freshner.

Home Baking

Chris says there is always a tasty treat in store for him, and all homemade. Cranberry sauce, apple sauce, bakewell tart & millionaires shortbread, mmmmmmm.
