Wild Boar 100kgs

 Saturday saw us out on the track at dawn and it was worth the early start. Ju Ju shot this boar weighing in at 100kgs, it put 7 dogs in the vets before it went down, it really reminds you how dangerous and formidable these magnificent beasts are.

Robin Hood

 Chris has taken well to his archery lessons and says it is all down to the training from his mentor Maximus. He seems to have the hand eye coordination which is required to score well and is hoping to adapt his new found skill onto the hunt, he already has his licence to kill game with a bow and arrow, but yes, of course, you guessed that ha ha.

Simply Chasse

Bonny took a nasty gash in her chest whilst out on the hunt last Sunday, the wound is clean and is now healing well so don't worry, she is being well looked after as you can imagine. A decent bag for the debut of the season, Sanglier, Faisan, Lapin, Pigeon Ramier and an unphotographed Roe Deer, are we eating well you may ask? Yes we are ha ha.

Sunday 9th September Overture de Chasse

 Chris, Jess & Bonny were delighted to shoot this plump cock Pheasant on the opening day of the hunting season, the three musketeers make a formidable team, Jess flushed, Chris shot and Bonny picked up, a perfect morning in the September sunshine.
