Scrub a Dub Dub

Joanne has been sugar soaping the paneling in the lounge with fantastic results, after a lick of paint we're cooking with gas.

Not quite Infinity

Put your back into it lad, a good days graft produced a result, just the water to treat now and we are up and running, or should that be up and swimming ha ha. As you can see from the last two photo's, it's not quite an infinity pool but hey, who's going to complain about that view?

What a difference a day makes

What do you do in the sun if you can't swim?
You prepare the pool so you can swim, not necessarily in order but you can see the before and after photo's. Chris & Joanne were pleased with what they found under the soil & weeds.

Before and After

Isn't it just a voyage of discovery, Chris found this mosaic marble floor hidden underneath the lino in the hall, we plan to polish this back to it's former glory, it is the same in the kitchen, a lovely surprise.

Stunning Views

Views from the Manor, the first and second photos were taken from the lounge, the first is of the view across the valley, the second is of the swimming pool. The third, fourth and fifth photo's are from the main bedroom, can you spot Jess & Bonny?

One man and his Barrow

One man and his barrow are on the march and things are taking shape nicely. The fire has been burning since last Friday and the five outbuildings have now been cleared and the Master is 3lbs lighter ha ha. As you can see in the second photo, it hasn't taken long for the lady of the Manor (Joanna) to make her mark, symmetry is the order of the day and the new box planters look great. Chris has trimmed the box at the bottom of the steps and Joanne has scraped off all the moss, the grounds are looking tidy already and with temperatures of 22 degrees plus forecast from Wednesday, the outdoor work will continue.

Spring is in the Air

When life is breathed back into the countryside it just makes you want to dig, Joanne & Chris had the seed boxes out planning what would be grown in 2012.
