Early Snow Causing Problems

Trees have been dropping like ten pins this weekend, a warm & wet Autumn has left leaves on the trees & roots sodden, early snow & timber ! Chris was late for lunch, but of course, made the hunt on time !

Early Snow

The snow has come early to the Creuse this year, walking the green lanes around the Manor have proved a delight, new territory for Chris, Joanne, Jess & Bonny, especially in the Winter-wonderland that Mother Nature provides gratuit !

The rather dated wallpaper and light fitting are counting down the days, a new chandelier and rolls of Damasc are knocking at the door.

A Tough Weekends Hunting

A tough weekend it was !

Cold, wet & the Sanglier managed to evade us, however, seven Roe Deer taken & the freezer is filling nicely.

She glows !

The final phase of pre Winter heating has been completed this evening, a wood burner glows in the Master bedroom, it's just perfect !

Birthday Girl

How she got away with a 43 candle on her cake we don't know, Joanne had a lovely time at her Birthday evening meal at Chez DORMOIS.
It was great to catch up with Jacqueline et Gerard.
